Behind the Scenes with the TomKat Studio + Thanksgiving Crafts

Awhile back I was approached by Kim, from The TomKat Studio to see if I could help her with an upcoming Photo Shoot.

Ummm – YES!

I jumped at the opportunity and was SO excited and a bit NERVOUS that Kim trusted me to help.
She asked if I could make some crafts for an HGTV Thanksgiving Photo Shoot, including a Banner, Wreath, Napkin Rings and a small banner for the cake.

With the theme, colors and prints in mind I made the crafts, brought the Kim’s and soon realized why Kim LOVES her job so much.

Because, PHOTO SHOOTS are FUN!!!!

Holy Moly, I was like a giddy school girl helping out and watching as Kim and Laura {from Laura Winslow Photography} made everything look beautiful.Molly {from TKS and who I LOVE and live right by}, Kim’s mom, and Lindsay {from Banner Boutique} were also there to help and decorate.

SO, for all of those who LOVE TomKat as much as I do, here are some behind the scenes pics that I hope you ENJOY

Also, here are some of the items I made for the shoot…

And since people have asked, I wanted to show them the
Circle Cutter I used for the Banner.
It is the MOST-HANDY, DANDIEST TOOL EVER!!

It cuts up to 6″ circles perfectly and works better than any other circle cutter I’ve ever used before.
Kim recently started selling them in her shop, and you can find them HERE.
Once again, I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to help with this shoot. It allowed me to be creative and work with some amazing people. And Stay Tuned… Since this shoot I’ve helped with one other one and can’t wait to show more details about it soon. :)
In the meantime, be sure to check The TomKat Studio often for some amazing printables and party inspriation!
