Best Fruit Dip

I already mentioned earlier this week that we had a baby shower for my SIL this past weekend. We decided to go with a breakfast theme, and man – it was a hit!! Along with a French Toast Bake, Cinnamon Roll Cake, Lemon Glazed Poppy Seed Muffins and more we had a bunch of fruit. My mom decided to try out a new Fruit Dip to go with it, and we all ended up loving it. Once you see the ingredients you’ll probably understand why. :)

The BEST Fruit Dip!! #fruitdip

We were lucky to have a little leftover dip this weekend that the hubby has been happily devouring. He especially liked it with strawberries and apples. I had some with cantaloupe and loved it! It really is so yummy on any kind of fruit!

Here’s the recipe:

Best Fruit Dip
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • ½ tsp. rum flavoring
  • 8 oz. cream cheese (1 bar) softened
  • 6 oz. marshmallow cream
  • ½ small cool whip tub
  1. Bring butter, sugar and evaporated milk to a boil in a medium saucepan. Once it comes to a boil, boil for 2 minutes.
  2. Stir in vanilla and rum flavoring and cool.
  3. In a separate bowl beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add milk mixture and marshmallow cream.
  4. Stir in cool whip and refrigerate for 2-3 hours before serving.
  5. Serve with fruit and ENJOY!
