Thanksgiving Advent Calendar from Family Every After

I need to say thank you in advance to the few bloggers helping me out this week by guest posting. Getting busy preparing for the Believe Boutique so these ladies are saving me!
Each of them will be doing a fun Thanksgiving-related post.
So, I’m calling this mini-series:
Thanks for Giving
:)
———————————————Hello and Happy Fall! I’m sooo excited to be guest posting on one of my favorite blogs today. Lil Luna is such a fun and beautiful place. I absolutely adore Kristyn- she has been so nice and helpful to me, especially when I first started my blog. My blog is called Family Ever After, and I hope to see you there sometime!

Today, I am showing you the Thanksgiving Advent Tree that I just made for our family countdown to Thanksgiving! I’ll tell you hoe I made it too. The idea is to have one leaf fall every day, until Thanksgiving. I have a little pocket on the back of each leaf that holds a piece of paper, so we can do Thanksgiving related activities together, or write things we’re grateful for.

The Great Pumpkin Series – Pumpkin Painting {The Un-Soccermom Blog}

Happy Fall Y’all!!  I’m Jodi, from The Un-Soccermom Blog
Wow…  I must say, (or type) it’s such an honor to guest post for Lil’ Luna!  I love Kristyn’s posts, her tips…  EVERYTHING!  It’s like a wonderland of all things good…..  ;o)

Anyways…  when I saw that Kristyn was going to basically dedicate the month of October to the subject of Pumpkins, my heart did a happy dance!  And when she posted on FB that she would be in need of guest bloggers to blog about Pumpkins?  Well..  my feet joined my heart and I literally did a happy dance!

I knew imediately that I wanted to blog about my new found LOVE of painting on pumpkins.  I tried it out last year and even blogged about it here.  It all started because my family loves to carve pumpkins.  I would LOVE to love carving pumpkins, but it’s just not my speciality.  Also, it’s kinda gross…  and sticky…  and stinky…

So, instead of carving an elaborate pumpkin as in the past….  I decided last year I would paint my pumpkin:
