I love spicy green beans, and Asian spicing and sauces in general, though for my family I’d be making these with tofu and tempeh. Nice collection of photos, makes me feel like sprinkliing sesame seeds on something.

I’ve had them at Chinese restaurants. #7 from your list above got me thinking of them. For our family I’d make it with something besides pork, probably tofu or tempeh.

How do I get these recipes. I love the generals chicken and now live in the Caribbean. I can not get the style and taste of chinese cooking I am use to here.

Asian food is every bit as diverse as it is delicious. I used to think that I knew Asian foods growing up. You see, we used to go out to Chinese and practically every weekend. They were a couple Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood, and they were perfect for us kids. They were greasy, flavorful, and we got a cookie at the end of every meal. What more could a child ask for?;
