Funny White Elephant Gift

I am just so sad that the holidays are flying by!Before they end, I wanted to share with you a family tradition that we do EVERY year!Let me preface by saying:You might think my family is a little crazy after this post….{I thought I’d share just in case any of you had crazy families like mine and would want to give your family a good laugh.}Every year my mom’s entire side of the family has a White Elephant Exchange. We ALWAYS do it the first Monday of December to celebrate my Grandma Luna’s birthday. She passed away 15 years ago and to remember her we have this annual get together and spend the night in PJs, eating the yummiest breakfast foods and having this exchange. We also have Santa come to visit the kiddos, which they LOVE. It’s an event we look forward to each year!

Well, a few years back, I decided to do a White Elephant gift that I thought would be super funny.Using the program Magic Mirror {that I bought and downloaded online}, I edited pictures of my family, printed them, and stuck them in a $1 photo album. The person who chose my gift was in shock. They couldn’t stop laughing as everyone wondered what it was. The album was quickly passed around to everyone. Bursts of laughter entailed.My family LOVED it!I’ve continued the tradition for almost 5 years now, and it’s the White Elephant Gift that EVERYONE is hoping to get. {Yes, my family is CRAZY, and seeing the pics below, you’ll know why!}Here are some samples of my EDITED pictures….

Using the program, I am able to accentuate and do all sorts of fun stuff to these pics, and we think it’s hilarious. Some people may find it offensive, but these pictures provide hours of laughter for our family!I take these pics on Thanksgiving day and now that people know what I’m taking them for, they like to make faces which often means even funnier pictures!You can see from the pics below that there is a huge difference from the BEFORE & AFTER photos:

Oh my. You guys are crazy! That would be hilarious to get. My boys love doing that on the computer with my brother so I’m sure this would be a hit with our family too.
