It’s Dr. Seuss’s Birthday today!!
I am a HUGE Dr. Seuss fan and am so thrilled to share with you this amazing Dr Seuss Diaper Cake today.
They pretty much made the entire cake using chip board, scrapbook paper, mod podge, crepe paper and hot glue.
They first mod podged paper unto the chipboard and made circles out of that to fill with diapers. They embellished the cake with all sorts of good-ness, including the big bow, my son’s name and the awesome hat on top (which is made from scrapbook paper mod podged onto chipboard).
They also added ruffled crepe paper to each layer. To do that they sewed crepe paper and hot glued that around the edge of a chipboard circle. They added two layers of crepe paper per layer. Such a fun and cute touch!
I absolutely LOVE everything about this cake and will probably keep it boxed up forever.
I also wanted to share some more fun Dr. Seuss creations through out blog land…

Thank you for the sweet words, Heather. Glad you like the cake. Thanks for stopping by.
amazing and adorable! It’s tough to make a three tier diaper cake so beautiful. most people stick to elaborate one like a tractor or motorcycle diaper cake. But this Dr. Sues one is simple enough with an intricate design and color pattern. Hats off to this marvel!
