Are you ready for some Football?!
About two weeks ago I was asked if I would be interested in doing a Football Segment on our local television show called, Sonoran Living. I had done the show earlier this year and was excited to do it again but was a bit nervous about the topic. I love football and all but had never really entertained for it. I decided a “Pinterest-Inspired” Football party would be perfect for the segment considering that’s where I’d turn if I did have to throw a little football shindig. With that in mind, I found inspiration all over the web and put together some fun stuff for the segment which aired this morning.
Here is what I came up with…
There were a ton of fun things that I did for the segment and these are just a few of those things.
I wanted to show you what I did as well as make sure you had all the printables available to throw a Football Party yourself.
Let’s start with the cupcakes…
I ordered these cupcakes from Walmart. They are only .50/each. I had them use green icing for grass. I then put these in some cute Baking Cups I got from The TomKat Studio. On half the cupcakes I added some Football Oreos (which just came out recently and were found at Walmart). On the other half I printed out some football guys in the colors I was using (in this case, orange and gold for my old High School). I cut those out, taped them onto a sucker stick and put those in the cupcakes.
CUTE and EASY!
FOOTBALL COCOA KRISPIES:
The inspiration from these came from Rice Krispies themselves.
They made theirs more 3D, and for mine I did regular treats but then cut them out in a football shape. I just free-handed a shape for the football, put it on top of the treats and cut it out. Simple. I then piped on the laces.
I also decided to make some goodies in a jar…
FOOTBALL PUDDING CUPS:
These were so cute and easy to do!!
My mom had this yellow tray that I filled with moss.
From there I had some mini mason jars I got at Walmart. There were 12 for about $7.
I crushed up Oreos, stuck a few spoonfuls at the bottom and then made white chocolate pudding. I added some orange food coloring for the team colors I was using and added the pudding to the jars. I sprinkled it with some oreos, and then stuck in a Football Oreo in each one. They look adorable and seriously only took a few minutes to do!!
Along with these goodies I also made some awesome Printables for you to download and use…
Add the printables and some jute and you’re set!
I added some jute to these small bowls I got at Target, filled with chips and added the flags.
For the flags you print and cut out, and then I wrapped and glued around a sucker stick and cut a triangle in the end.
This sign was so easy. I painted a frame I got at Goodwill for .50. I then put the printable in and then cut out my footballs. I folded them in half and hot glued several together and then hot glued it on to the print. Pretty easy!

Are You Ready for Some Football Print
Do you sense a theme here?? LOL! I tried to come up with related football words and ran with it. I hope they make sense.
I also decided to make these printables available in ten different colors, hoping it would include your teams colors.
They are available in: RED, ORANGE, YELLOW/GOLD, GREEN, BLUE, PURPLE, NAVY, BLACK, SILVER/GRAY and MAROON
To download them go to the following links for all the printables in that color:
All you have to is download the set you want, print and cut out for however many you need.
I also wanted to note there were several other things I did for the segment including Chocolate Covered Football Strawberries (from HERE) as well as Rye Football sandwiches (from HERE) that I didn’t get pictured. They may have been eaten after the segment and didn’t make it home, lol!
Be sure to stay tuned later this week for my Football Banner Printable as well as a clip from the segment.
