Graduation Cap Toppers and Flags

Alrighty, friends…

I have a few more graduation and teacher gifts I will be sharing with you over the next few days.

This next idea is nothing new but wanted to do my version of it for my brother-in-law’s graduation party last week. I had seen Chocolate versions of these Graduation Cap Toppers, but not a white chocolate version {which is my FAV!!}. Here is how mine turned out:

Graduation Cap Toppers and Flags on { }

I’m not gonna lie. They were pretty darn good and SO easy to do. {Can you tell I LOVE easy?!}

Here is what you need to make them as well:

– Sucker sticks

– White Chocolate Reeses

– White Vanilla Bean Ghirardelli Squares

– White Chocolate Bark

– Big Red Gum (or any gum depending on what color of tassel you want to do)

– Mini M&Ms

– Dessert (or cupcakes to stick them in)

1. Begin by  unwrapping all your candy {before I unwrapped candy} I had made sure candy was refrigerated so it was very firm}. Then, melt your white chocolate bark in the microwave. You will add this to a piping bag or a sandwich bag where the tip is cut for easier use. Then flip over your Ghirardelli Square and add a dab of white chocolate and stick your Reeses, bottom side down {smaller circle down} onto the melted white chocolate. Then you will stick in your sucker stick.

2. Cut your Big Red into skinny strips and cut to your desired length. Set aside.

3. From there you will add a dab of white chocolate to the top, stick on your big red, add another dab on top in the middle and add your mini M&M.

{To download FLAG Prints go HERE}

4. From there you will save, print and cut our your flags to add to the popsicle stick. Glue {I use a glue stick} those on and cut a triangle in the ends to make them look more like flags.

Now you have cute and white Graduation Cap Toppers to stick into any dessert or cupcake.

What’s great is you can customize the colors too depending on the colors of the school.

{I LOVE being able to customize colors!!}

      Hi Sally! So glad you likes the caps!! The treat I put them in was Kansas City Dirt Cake. I thought I had put it on the blog before, but I’m going to make it again soon and add it – it’s DELISH! :D
