Halloween Bakers Twine Garland

Halloween Baker's Twine Garland - CUTE! Easy supplies, easy to make.

Happy Fall Lil’ Luna readers!  Can you believe Halloween will be here before you know it?!  Today I’m sharing a fun Halloween Bakers Twine Garland, it will go perfectly with all the Halloween decor you will be putting out this week! You can create this in any Halloween color combination you’d like.

Supplies:

–  Bakers Twine {gray & orange}

–  Black Yarn

–  Small Styrofoam Balls

–  Small Pins {optional}

–  Craft Glue

–  Small Paintbrush or Toothpick for applying glue

–  Long Wooden Skewer or Embroidery Needle that is longer than the balls

Halloween Baker's Twine Garland - CUTE! Easy supplies, easy to make.

 1.  Begin by tying a small knot in the end of your twine.  I liked to put a small pin in the knot and press it firmly in to the styrofoam ball.

2.  Apply glue with your brush or toothpick to the styrofoam ball in the area where you are starting.  Glue as you go since it dries.

3.  Begin wrapping your bakers twine in a circular patter around the ball, gluing as you go.  Be sure to press firmly too.

4.  When you get to the end either secure another knot and pin it in to the styrofoam ball again or glue it down.

5.  For the yarn decorated balls, I just simply wrapped it to look like a black spider web on the ball and pinned the ends in place.

6.  Using a long wooden skewer or long embroidery needle string your decorated balls on to either twine or embroidery floss.

Now your done!  Pretty easy.  It does take some time to sit and wrap each ball, but it’s cute so it is totally worth it!
