Hey everybody it’s Tiffany from Creme de la Crumb ! Can you believe that Fall is in full swing and we’re now in November?! I’ve been cooking up a storm lately, creating brand new recipes for the holidays like Candied Pecan Sweet Potato Casserole, Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes, Slow Cooker Ham, and Apple Cranberry Walnut Salad – it’s practically been non-stop Thanksgiving at our house!
I’ve been thinking about what I want to give as neighbor gifts this year and when my mom gave me a new jar of her homemade jam I thought that is the perfect gift everyone loves, homemade jam! So today I’m sharing a very simple strawberry jam recipe with you and look at those cute tags I made to go with mine! What are you giving for neighbor gifts this year??
- 2 pounds fresh strawberries, hulled (or raspberries)
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 3½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup honey
- In a large bowl, smash berries.
- n a heavy bottomed saucepan, mix together the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir over low heat until the sugar is dissolved. Increase heat to high, and bring the mixture to a full rolling boil. Boil, stirring often, until the mixture reaches 220 degrees F (105 degrees C).
- Transfer jam to jars. Allow to cool, uncovered, until jam reaches room temperature. Top with a lid - use a cupcake wrapper for a cute decoration! Tie with a ribbon and add a cute tag if giving as a gift. Enjoy!

LOVE this idea, Tiffany!!
I have yet to make jam by myself, and now I’m totally motivated to because they’d make GREAT gift ideas!
