Hot Cocoa Gift Idea

I love Target. I go there probably once a week to get out of the house with the kiddos. It’s a fun place to walk around, don’t you agree?

Well, while I was there a few weeks ago I spotted these Mugs with these Sweater Type Cozies around them and thought they were so adorable. I bought one knowing it would be a cute Hot Cocoa Gift Idea. I decided to throw in a few things as well as make a cute tag to go with it.

The result? Another cheap, cute and easy gift idea!

What do you think?

It literally took a minute to put together, which is good because 1 minute is all I had this week to do it, lol (I feel SOO busy right now so all quick gifts are the best!)

Here is what I did to make them…

Hot Cocoa Gift - 1

I threw in two bags of hot cocoa as well as jewelry bag of Peppermint Marshmallows.

I also found these awesome Candy Cane Spoons from Wilton at Michael’s.

Aren’t they perfect?!

I then attached a tag with twine.

To download your own tags just click on the one you want above and then RIGHT-CLICK and SAVE. Then, open in a program like WORD. Then RESIZE, PRINT and CUT OUT.

To make it even cheaper you can find a plain mug at The Dollar Store and just write on with sharpie (a cute and easy way to customize a gift). ;)

Cute! I so wish they sold those peppermint marshmallows in Canada. I bet I can find those candy cane spoons at my Michael’s though! I think I’ve just been inspired to start on my teacher’s gifts!

I liked this idea so well that I went right out and bought the necessary things to make them. There are now five cute hot cocoa gift mugs sitting on my bar, waiting to be passed out to our neighbors. It was quick and easy!

Thanks for the fun idea (and the tip about where to find the super-fun sweater mugs)!
