Let me turn the time over to Jenny who started Boutique in the Barn…
My name is Jenny Brown but really, that is unimportant. I am hosting a boutique on April 28th in Tempe, Arizona. We have held this boutique now for a few years and each year we have changed a few things. This year we are changing things drastically, for the better. We have always tried to help our vendors raise money for whatever their causes may be. Lots of vendors in the past have been involved in the adoption community and have had huge adoption related costs they needed help covering. We have worked hard to help them raise money and are hoping to help them again this year.
Along with their cause we have taken on another one that we are really passionate about. We are going to be donating a portion of the ENTIRE day’s sale from EVERY vendor to The Shine Project. If you haven’t heard of it, it is an organization that does various service projects around Arizona and is branching out around the nation. They also raise money for a scholarship fund that they grant to deserving, hardworking, underprivileged students here in Phoenix. We will be having lots of opportunities to donate but also just by coming and shopping you are helping the scholarship fund. Easy enough, right?
It is also right before Mother’s Day, graduation, summer, and there is going to be shaved ice, prize bags for the first 50 shoppers and so many more exciting things you will not want to miss.
