It’s me, Lily, again! Did you miss me?
Guess what we did today? We went on a mommy daughter date. Guess what we did?! We bought stuff for Valentine’s next week and bubble makers so we could have fun with the family tonight. We were able to go outside and play with our bubbles. It was really fun. And, me and my brother, Gavin, were putting our bubbles together and were making really big bubbles!!
You know, last week, we had some rain so my mom made this next recipe with my little sister while I was at school and while it was still sunny. Mom didn’t want to wait since the rain was coming, so she asked Evie. They made a Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothie. My mom saved some for me and my brother for an after school treat. We all begged for more. We were chanting, “MORE! MORE! MORE!” It was really good!!!
If you love smoothies and milkshakes… and you like strawberries, you’ll love this one! And I’m not kidding!
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- ½ cup ice
- 4 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- graham cracker crumbs
- fresh strawberries (for garnish, optional)
- Place all ingredients minus the graham cracker crumbs in your blender.
- Blend until smoothie. Top with crumbs and fresh strawberry.
Recipe adapted from Creme de la Crumb.
