It’s my turn to show a fun FALL craft in this month’s Creative Carousel.
I’m so excited to be a part of this series and I hope you’ve been following along all week because each day there has been a great Fall Craft Tutorial. I also hope you are sure to go on over and enter the Giveaway with prizes valued over $300! To enter go HERE.
Today I am going to show you how to make some Fall Decor for your home or for a gift.
If the Broom Fits, Ride It!
Ha! I love this saying! Here’s what you’ll need if you would like to make it as well.
SUPPLIES:
-Wood
-Vinyl
-Fabric scraps
-Ribbon
-Furniture Tacs
-Spray Paint
DIRECTIONS:
1. Spray paint your board and let dry. My board was 11×24 inches.
2. Cut your vinyl. I used the font: Fontmoochers from Kevin and Amanda.
The witch dingbat is from theSilbooettes Font found HERE.
3. Add vinyl to board making sure it’s a few inches from the top.{Distress board if desired.}
4. Cut triangles out of your fabric. I cut 9 triangles that had about a 1 inch base. Using a glue stick, stick this onto a thin ribbon. You can leave it at that or if you want to make sure they stick really well, you can sew a simple stitch along it.
5. Add thumb tacs to both sides of the top of the board. Wind the ribbon around each tac before pressing down all the way.
Now you have a cute board that can be done with any fun Halloween or Fall saying. I found a TON of fun phrases/quotes HERE.
Be sure to check out the rest of the tutorials that have been featured all week long!!
