Polka Dot Ornaments

(Sorry for the blurry pic) :(

Now that the 4th has come and gone, most people are thinking about last minute vacations before school starts.

I’m thinking about the HOLIDAYS. I know it might sounds crazy, but now is the time when I start planning all the things I want to do and make for the upcoming Wonderful DAYS:

Halloween & Christmas

I know Halloween is up next, but I thought it would be fun to do a quick NO PIC TUTORIAL for some ADORABLE Polka Dot Ornaments.

SUPPLIES:
-Ornaments (Shatterproof work best)
-Vinyl Dots (or you can paint dots on with circle sponge brush)
-Tulle
-Cardstock
-Silver Rings

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Begin by printing off Christmas Words onto cardstock and cutting into rectangle or TAG Shapes. (Words you could use include:
JOY, BELIEVE, MIRACLE, REJOICE, WISH, HOPE, etc).

2. Distress with stamp pad if desired and hole punch in top left corner. Place silver ring through punch. Set aside.

3. Add vinyl dots (or paint dots on using circle sponge brush).

4. If painted, when dry, add tag to ornament with tulle.

Voila. If you’re obsessed with POLKA DOTS like I am, then these make the PERFECT ORNAMENTS!

Tip: If you don’t have time this year to buy them, be sure to buy ornaments AFTER Christmas THIS YEAR for NEXT YEAR when they are at least 50% off. :)

If you’re looking for VINYL DOTS, look no further. I have just added them to my ETSY SHOP.

Get (128) .3″ dots for $7 (Also in .5″ & 1″) – Can’t beat that!!
ENJOY!

Great idea. I bought a whole bunch of round ornaments last year after christmas from target. I need to get them out so I can start dotting them up. TFS!~MakalaniMakaz Home
