Turtle Brownie Cookies

Hi! I am so happy to be here today. I don’t know about you but, I am glad the weather is starting to cool off a little so get back in the kitchen and bake up some of our favorite Fall treats. I made some caramel the other day and it inspired these Turtle Brownie Cookies. My family really liked them. They liked them so much, I am glad I got these pictures before they found my second try!

Have you ever made homemade caramel? I was surprised it only has 3 ingredients. It is wonderful! If making homemade caramel scares you then, you can buy caramel candy and melt it in the microwave.

TURTLE BROWNIE COOKIES:

Supplies:
Brownie Mix
1 Egg
2 tbls Water
1/4 cup Oil
Homemade Caramel or Caramel Candy
Chopped Pecans

I like this brownie mix best because it has little mini chocolate chips in it so that is one less ingredient I have to add. If you want more chocolate, then feel free to add it and be my new BFF! Everyone knows there is never enough chocolate!

  1. Mix brownies with the water and oil and bake at 350° for about 8 minutes. (Oven times vary so check them often so they don’t burn.)
  2. As soon as you remove the cookies from the oven, sprinkle the pecans on top. You might give them a little push so they will stay in place.
  3. Then, drizzle with caramel.
  4. Watch them disappear!
Thank you so much for letting my hang out with you all today! I hope you all enjoy all the comfort foods that Fall has to offer.
Happy Creating!
