(Mmmm… mind you, these were filled by a bunch of 12 and 13 year old boys and girls, and they still look great!) CAMI
for winning the Simply You Photography Mini-Session!!
You ware going to LOVE Kelsea’s work – she’s amazing!
Today’s Tutorial is something that we did with the Beehives and Deacons last Wednesday for Mutual.
We made mini, individual pies!
(Made about 40 in a little over hour – pretty good, I think!)
The kids had so much fun, and the pies turned out great
(Thanks, Venna!!)
They were so easy to do and would be perfect to serve as Individual Pies on
Turkey Day!!
-1 c. flour
-1/2 c. vegetable oil
-2-4 Tb. water
-Pie filling (pumpkin, apple, pudding)
-Cool Whip
DIRECTIONS:

1. Mix flour and oil until course. Add 2-4 Tb. water until it is the the correct consistency (not too dry, not wet).
2. Roll out until you can see the pattern on your kitchen counter (pretty thin, but not so think it tears so easily).

3. Cut out 5-7 five inch circles.

4. Place in muffins pans and be sure to press down the bottom so it stays in the pan well.
**TIP: For empty crusts, put in some rice, and that will help prevent the crusts from puffing up.**

5. Place directly into 450 degree oven for 25-30 minutes if you are just making the crusts to fill with pudding filling. For fruit fillings, add fillings and cook as directed on pie filling cans. Cover fruit filled pies with another 4 inch pie top if desired.

6. Once out, let fruit pies cool or fill empty crusts with pudding filling.
Top pies with cool whip and serve.
Super easy – Super yummy!!
