Put those together and you get one of my most favorite things to make for baby showers and wedding shower gifts.
Name & Word Blocks
I recently made some LOVE blocks for a craft swap with Megan, from a Ruffle in Time. But, I’ve also made them for other occasions.
Here are a few examples: 
This is what you will need to make them:
SUPPLIES
-Wood Plaques (found at Joann’s or Michael’s)
-Paint
-Foam Brush
-Scrapbook Paper
-Ribbon/Ric Rac
-Mod Podge
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Paint Wood plaues around edges and up onto the face of the plaque. Let dry.
2. Cut out scrapbook paper the size of the face of the plaque.
3. Mod Podge scrapbook paper onto the plaque face.
4. Turn wood letters upside down onto the back of the scrapbook paper that you want on the letter. Trace it and cut out.
5. Paint edges and onto the front of the letters. Let dry.
6. Mod Podge scrapbook paper onto the face of the letters. Let dry.
7. Add ribbon/ric-rac/lace to letters by tying into a knot.
8. Add hanging teeth or ribbon to the back of the plaques. I like to add ribbon, and to do that I mark the center of the plaque on the back and top of it. Then I measure 2 inches to each side and make a mark. Then I tie a knot at the edge of each ribbon, and staple it in at the 2 inch marks. Then I tie the knot that it will hang by.
9. Hot glue letters to plaques and you’re done!
This project is so much fun because you can do it for anything… names… holidays… any word really!!
