Trick or Treat Wreath

Wanted to share with you guys the tutorial I did as part of Fall Fever over at Every Creative Endeavor… hope you like it!

As you all know I have a slight addiction to WREATHS.

I Heart them!!

They are so fun to make, and I love that I can make one for every season and holiday!

Today’s wreath is a Trick or Treat Wreath.

Trick or Treat Wreath on { }

-Foam Wreath

-Paper from an old Book {got my book at Goodwill – was a Surgery Textbook}

-Scallop Punch

-Hot glue {lots of it!!}

-Scrapbook Paper

-Vinyl Pumpkin

-Black burlap

1. Punch scalloped circles from book.
Continue doing until you have a LOT!
2. Add scalloped circles to foam wreath with hot glue. I first put a dab in the center and folded it up and then added hot glue to the wreath and stuck the circle to it. Continue doing until the wreath is covered.
3. Cut pumpkin from vinyl. If you don’t have vinyl, you can just cut it out of black paper and glue it to your scrapbook paper.
4. Cut out your scrapbook paper and glue it to the back of your wreath.
5. Print “Trick or Treat” onto some scrapbook paper, and then cut it lengthwise so it’s nice and long and hot glue it to the bottom of your wreath.

6. Finish it off by hot gluing some black burlap to the back and tying in a knot.

It’s that simple!

It takes a little bit of time and hot gluing, but doesn’t cost much!

{My FAV kind of craft!}

    This has so many possibilities! I'll bet if you used velcro dots instead of glue, it would be fun to make varying holiday backgrounds. Hmmm … Thanks for the fun idea.Jaymie @
