Uh-MASON Gift Idea

If you’re anything like me you always have your eye out for fun new things at the store. Well, right before we left Arizona my mom showed me these ADORABLE Mason Jar Cups and Straws she saw at Costco. I immediately fell in love. She bought me one before I left and I just LOVE it! It’s almost too pretty to drink from, lol!

Since then I’ve seen these cups everywhere – Target, Walmart – you name it!

I knew I had to do something fun with them and bought a few more.

I made some fun prints to go with them to make an Uh-MASON Gift idea. Get? Uh-MASON?! (Mason Jar Cups?!)

I made a teacher version:

I made a Birthday Version – perfect for anyone for a quick and cheap but CUTE gift:

And a general just because gift to thank anyone in you life like friends, moms, sisters, neighbors:

Uh-MASON Friend Gift idea with free tags.

I just LOVE how they turned out because they are SO adorable and super cheap. Most cups are about $6.99 – $9.99 depending on the size and what store you get them from. Then you can fill them with any goodies or even leave them empty.

If you’d like to make them too here’s what you’ll need:

SUPPLIES:

- Mason Jar Cups (at Costco, Walmart, Target)

- Twine/Ribbon

- Scissors

- Treats

- Printables

I LOVE these!!! I was wondering do you have one that says “Have an uh-mason school year”? I would love to have this as my center piece on my back to school party I am doing for my kids.

Is your last name Merkley? My maiden name is Merkley. I wonder if we’re related somehow. :) Would be kind of cool to find out if we are or not. Contact me please!!!

My last name is indeed, Merkley! Do your ancestors come from ID or Canada? If so, we are probably related. :)

This is TOO CUTE ! I was looking for a crafty and affordable last minute teacher gift … I LOVE this ! I have one concern though …. How in the world to you cut a clean hole in the top ???

    • 16

The cups (tumblers) already come with the hole in the top… you can find them at Walmart, Target, HomeGoods and Costco from $6 – $10. Hope that helps. :)

I originally pinned this on one of my Pinterest boards for teacher appreciation but decided to do the birthday themed one instead. Gave as a gift to a co-worker today and it was definitely well received. Thanks for such a cute printable and a fun gift idea!

i love this idea…the mason jar and the cute chevron printable!!! but when i printed it, it printed on the whole page instead of like a favor tag….do you think you can help me with this. I’d like to give to my son’s teacher.

You have to re-size it to the size you want. I usually make mine about 3 or 4 inches. Open the image in WORD and press FORMAT and you should be able to re-size there. ;)
