Valentines Pop Box Treats

Valentine's Pop Box Treats! Just fill with yummy candy and you have the perfect gift!

In case you missed this over at Skip to My Lou a few days ago, I thought I’d share with you my Valentines Pop Box Treats.

 I made one for Christmas back in 2010 after seeing the original idea for Father’s Day and have been dying to make a Valentine’s version ever since.

Do you like it? It’s pretty cheap and can be made quite quickly, which is always a bonus.

Here is what you’ll need if you want to make it too.

SUPPLIES:

-Glass Soda Pop Box and Bottles {I used Strawberry Crush because of the rid lids, but IBC Cream Soda works too}

-Soda Box Printables

-Scissors/Paper Cutter

-Hot Glue

-Candy

-Paint {spray paint or craft paint}

DIRECTIONS:

Valentine's Pop Box Treats! Just fill with yummy candy and you have the perfect gift!

1. Begin by drinking the pop {keep your lids!} You will wash the bottles and let dry for a day to make sure there is no more moisture inside. Set aside.

2. You will then paint your box. I spray painted mine to go quicker, but you can also paint with craft paint. Let dry. Set aside.

3. Fill your bottles with all sorts of candy. There are so many fun VDay candies at the store, and even plenty at the local Dollar Store. Fill to the brim and top with your lid.

4. Print and cut out all your labels. Then add Label to the front of your box with hot glue. Also add labels around each bottle as well as images for the tops of each bottle.

5. Fill your Box with your candy-filled bottles.

That’s it! Super cute and super easy.

    I’ve been wanting to do these since you first showed us last Fathers Day. Maybe I can finally get my act together and do them for Valentines Day – I love them, so cute!

    I love these! I have something similar pinned on Pinterest 😉 I would love for you to link up to my Tuesday Pinterest Inspiration party. It’s open till Sunday :) I have not seen the Valentine’s candy corn here in Tennessee. Might have to go and look for some.

      So glad you like them. I found the Valentine candy corn at Walmart in the Valentine section… I would try there. And I linked up to your party. :)

    I love this idea! I’m going to fill it with all my friend’s favorite candy and give it to her on her birthday. I was wondering with the bottles you used if when you put the caps back on were you able to just screw them on or did you need to use a bottle capper. Thanks, Emma
