You Rock Valentines Gift

Valentine’s is one of my FAVORITE holidays!

It’s so fun for me to celebrate a holiday about LOVE and to have one more excuse to show that love to those around you. As this holiday approaches I am always trying to think of cute, simple and unique valentines that I can give to the hubby and kids to make them feel extra special on February 14th. This next tutorial is one of those. I had seen some very realistic rock candy at our local candy store and knew they would be perfect to make a You Rock Valentines Gift.

Perfect, right? Cute, simple and fun. The candy looks so realistic too which makes even that much better! I put my candy in a a little jar that I got for a dollar at Hobby Lobby, but these can put in almost anything and the tag can be attached in so many different ways

Here’s how you can do it too:

SUPPLIES:

- Rock Candy

- Jar/Container

- Printable (available below)

- Glue Dots/Tape

DIRECTIONS:

1. Print and cut out your Tag. To download, click on the image above and then right-click and save. Open in a program like word and re-size it to the size you need.

2. Fill your jar or container with your candy.

3. Add your tag to your jar. I used Glue Dots to do this.

These ended up costing a bout $1.50 to make and turned out so cute. The kids love these rock candies too, which helps. My daughter wants to eat the candy rocks and then fill it up with her favorite rocks from our walks and hikes, which is a pretty good idea.

  Hi Jana! Not sure where you are located but if you are in Phx, AZ there is a candy store in Chandler called Sweeties that has every candy you could imagine!! I’m sure there are online stores too. Hope that helps.

Thank you so much for posting this darling, free(!) “You Rock Valentine” printable! We printed it and attached it to a piece of rock candy on a stick. My daughter is so excited to share her super cool Valentine’s with her classmates tomorrow. Thanks again! Jennifer
