Did you know it’s almost Halloween?!

My mom and me have been looking at Halloween magazines and there are SO SO SO SO SO SO many Halloween recipes with candy that I want to make and show you guys.

We found a fudge recipe that we changed to make it super easy and perfect for Halloween.

MY OTHER RECIPES

My favorite part were the candy corns, but my daddy’s favorite part were the pretzels. My mom likes it all, and I liked it all too.

I’m calling this recipe: Candy Corn Pretzel Fudge.

Candy Corn Pretzel Fudge

Ingredients
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup pretzels chopped
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2½ cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 tub marshmallow fluff
Instructions
  1. We started by putting the candy corns in a bowl and chopping the pretzels and putting them in a bowl.
  2. Then we put parchment paper on the 9x9 pan. This keeps the fudge from sticking to the pan.
  3. Put the white chocolate chips and marshmallow fluff in a big bowl. Set aside.
  4. In a pan melt the sugar, heavy cream, salt and butter on medium heat until it starts to boil. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour the hot stuff into the bowl of chocolate chips and mix with the hand mixer until it's smooth and soft.
  6. Mix (fold) in almost all the pretzels and all the candy corns. Pour into the pan.
  7. Sprinkle the rest of the candy corn and pretzels on the top. Put in the fridge for 3-5 hours to let it set. Hope you like it!

Hi Lily – this looks so yummy! I think my little boy would love this, but the problem is that he grew up and joined the navy and now he lives very far away. Will you ask your mom for me if she thinks this would be okay to mail, or does it need to be kept in the refrigerator? Thank you very much – keep up the good work!

You did a great job with this, Lily…it looks so festive for Halloween! I pinned it and can’t wait to try it myself! πŸ™‚

What size tub on the Marshmallow Fluff? I have a 40 oz one, but I’m guessing that’s not the size for this recipe.
Thanks! I can’t wait to try this!

    Lil' Luna

It’s a 7 oz. jar. It’s usually $1 at most grocery stores. Hope that helps. πŸ™‚

This fudge is gonna thrill those who get a bite, wow – I’m so excited to cut it up. I used UTZ Halloween shaped pretzels and didn’t chop. They look adorable, little jack-o-lantern and bat pretzels mixed up with the candy corn. Thanks for sharing the recipe. I used a can of sweetened condenses milk in lieu of heavy cream/sugar. It all tasted great on my fingers!

    Lil' Luna

Sounds amazing, Nat!! Halloween Shaped Pretzels are perfect. Looks like I’ll need to guy buy some and make some more. πŸ™‚

Rhonda

These look great! I tried the recipe last night and let the fudge sit overnight. Woke up this morning and the fudge is still very soft. Any suggestions on why this would be? I used the exact ingredients and directions.

Ursula

Dear Lily,

I was scrambling for easy to make halloween sweets, and I will try this one. My daughter is very excited to give this one a try as she loves candy corn so much, and this is one of our favorite holidays. Thank you for sharing this easy to make recipe and looking forward to see many more. You are so talented. Congrats!

chloe

hey! this looks super delicious!! πŸ˜€ however i have a problem. . . i live in Australia so we dont have any ‘marshmellow fluff’ over here, is there anything i can use as a substitute??

Lisa

Is marshmallow fluff the same as marshmallow cream?

Mary Ann Armstrong

Hi, this looks delicious, but my husband has Crohns Disease and is lactose intolerant. He loves sweets but I can’t use the heavy cream in my recipes. Is there a substitute I can use it the Cany Corn Pretzle recipe?

Holly

This fudge is WINNING! Delicious…and slightly sinful. πŸ™‚

Kasha Miller

Hello! I just made this fudge and followed all the directions and when I mixed it the butter mixture seemed to separate from the chocolate chip mix and they wouldn’t really combine and when I poured it into the pan some sat on top….long story short is that normal?? Will it correct while it sits??

    Lil' Luna

Hmmmm, I’ve never had that happen. I’m thinking it cooked for too long. Not sure if it will combine. I’m so sorry – let me know what ends up happening. :/

    Meg K

Same exact thing happened to me and I followed all of the directions. πŸ™ glad to know I’m not alone!

      Lil' Luna

Hmmmm…. made this again today with no problems. I’m wondering if your mixture was boiling too long. :/

Kathy

Thank you for sharing this!! What a darling post!! Loved your little “helper bees!” I look forward to making these for my friends

Debbie

the marshmallow fluff here comes in a small or large container that looks like a jar (Kraft is one brand). It doesn’t come in a tub. What size do I need so I get this recipe right? Looks like something fun and easy! Thanks!

    Lil' Luna

It’s 7 oz. πŸ™‚ Hope that helps! And yes, it really is fun, easy and yummy!!

Sally

what size tub of marshmallow fluff????

tracey

Made 6 double batches. None of them set like fudge. All taste really good but are runny. What is wrong?

    Lil' Luna

πŸ™ Unfortunately, I’m not sure what happened. We’ve never had it turn out runny. Did you boil it for 5 minutes? I’m so sorry it didn’t turn out. πŸ™

Cheryl

This is the best recipe – made several times … switching candies for holidays. Going to make Valentine’s Day today – I bought Valentine’s M&Ms but should have waited to find the Valentine’s candy corn .. still will be sweet and salty. I LOVE white chocolate and never would have come up with adding the fluff … and of course .. can’t ever go wrong with butter!

Thank you for sharing your creativity!
