Hello, it’s me – Lily!
MY LATEST VIDEOS
Guess what?? Last night we had an awesome BBQ at our house. We invited families from church and played in the Sprinklers (my dad made an awesome one that we’ll do a tutorial for later) and ate lots of food. Here’s a picture:
I was so glad that we had friends over because mom says school will be starting soon, so we’re trying to have lots of fun before summer ends!! We’re also trying to make yummy and cool treats like today’s recipe for Caramel Creme Squares. It’s a recipe my mom found a long time ago and we really like it. It has graham cracker crumbs, cream cheese, butterscotch pudding, vanilla pudding, cool whip – and of course, CARAMEL! I really loved it. I think you’ll like it too. My mom says that these cool, layered desserts are the best. I agree. 😀
Caramel Creme Squares
Caramel Creme Squares - 5 delicious layers including graham cracker crumbs, cream cheese, butterscotch and vanilla pudding and topped with Cool Whip and caramel! YUM!!
- 1 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup butter melted
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 1/4 cup milk divided
- 1 large tub cool whip divided
- 3.4 oz butterscotch pudding mix
- 3.4 oz vanilla pudding mix
- caramel syrup
Begin by adding graham cracker crumbs and melted butter to a gallon bag. Mix well and then press into the bottom of 9x13 pan.
In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and ¼ cup milk until well combined. Fold in one cup Cool Whip and spread over crust.
In a small bowl whisk together butterscotch pudding with 1½ cups milk until well combined and pour over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate for 5 minutes before doing the next pudding layer.
Once set, whisk together vanilla pudding with 1½ cups milk until well combined and slowly pour over the butterscotch later. Refrigerate for at least five minutes.
Top with the rest of the Cool Whip and refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving.
Cut into squares and top with caramel syrup. ENJOY!
