Simple Greek Chicken Wraps are a quick & easy lunch making them a great grab and go lunch for extra busy days!
Fast, healthy lunches are a must on my weekly meal plan. Greek chicken wraps are perfect! To turn this into a full blown dinner or larger meal, I love to pair these with Greek Orzo Salad and Homemade Hummus.
Tasty Greek Flavors
I never knew how much I really liked it until we started going to a restaurant called Zoe’s Kitchen while we lived in Houston. Have you been there? We had some friends suggest it, and I’m so glad they did because it quickly became a new favorite. Before then, I didn’t really have a stance on Greek food, but now I can say I LOVE it!! The food is flavorful and everything I tried there was amazing.
I’ve been experimenting at home with more Greek flavors and ingredients and recently tried making some Greek Chicken Wraps. They turned out amazing, and I’m so glad I gave them a try. I now have another quick and tasty lunch or dinner recipe I can whip up.
I also tried recreating the Greek Pasta Salad that is my absolute favorite. 😉 It would go perfectly with this Greek Chicken Wrap. It’s simple, tasty and full of flavor.
Just mix and roll!
MIX. Add the first 4 ingredients to a medium bowl. Mix in Greek dressing until evenly coated.
ROLL. Spoon into tortillas and wrap up. Enjoy!
Tips + Storing Info
If tortillas aren’t your jam I would suggest naan or pita bread. They have a little bit of a softer and fluffier texture.
To add additional Greek flavors, spread hummus on the tortilla, add grape tomatoes, olives, or even a squeeze of lemon juice.
To make this vegetarian feel free to remove the chicken from the recipe and add in some more veggies such as tomatoes, zucchini, and even chickpeas! For a vegan version, remove the chicken again as well as the feta cheese and make sure to get a vegan salad dressing.
The simplest method would be to roll it like you would a burrito. Fill your wrap down the middle and then pull in the sides and then pull up the bottom before rolling the rest of the way from that direction. You can either eat your wrap like a burrito or cut it in half and have 2 baby burritos.
Make and STORE Greek chicken wraps the day of eating them. If you are planning on saving these for the work week I would suggest not tossing the mixture in the dressing until the day of. The dressing would definitely make the tortilla soggy if it is stored too long in the fridge.
To make these wraps ahead of time, cook and chop the chicken, chop the lettuce, and peel and chop the cucumbers ahead of time.
