how to make honey mustard – Just 4 Ingredients!

Did I mention there are just 4 main ingredients to this tasty sauce??

  • yellow mustard
  • mayo
  • honey
  • dijion mustard

**and just a tiny bit of lemon juice

Grab a small bowl and mix together the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge to chill overnight.

Make sure to store the dipping sauce in an airtight container and keep it in your fridge. It will last for up to 3 weeks in your fridge so definitely make it ahead of time if you want to. I do not recommend freezing this honey mustard sauce. The mayonnaise will not thaw well and it will separate.

Perfect. Easy to make!! It was very tasty and the perfect combo of tangy and sweet. I Liked that it was the common ingredients I could use. I did forgo the dijon because I do not like it. However, it still tasted perfect with just the yellow mustard. This a keeper recipe.

My younger self, who didn’t like mustard, definitely missed out all these years. The sauce is easy to make and I always have the ingredients on hand.
