As soon as the heat of the summer rolls around, I love nothing more than keeping a fresh pitcher of lemonade in the fridge. Everyone in the house loves it, especially after coming home from baseball games, soccer practice or an afternoon at the pool. With just a few simple ingredients you can easily pick up at the grocery store, this fantastic lemonade comes together in moments!
This Sparkling Peach Lemonade is the perfect cold drink for sipping on a hot summer day! It is made with a few simple ingredients and comes together in just minutes – fantastic for picnics, parties and showers, too!
I started off this recipe with a can of frozen lemonade concentrate, found in the freezer section at the grocery store. This is a nice shortcut for the lemonade, versus juicing multiple lemons. A quick trick I often use with frozen concentrate juices – thaw them in the refrigerator. When you’re ready to make your lemonade, they pour our easily, and there are no frozen chucks to worry about.
As for the peaches, you can go a few directions – fresh, frozen or canned. Frozen and canned are great options if peaches aren’t in season or unavailable. However, I will say the flavor and juiciness of fresh peaches is pretty unbeatable! Depending on where you live, peaches are typically in season July through September at your local farmers markets and grocery stores.
This fantastic drink is wonderful for serving a parties, baby and bridal showers, and a great for cookouts and picnics, too! It’s also goes great with your favorite lawn chair – perfect for kicking up your feet and enjoying after a long day in the summer heat.
