Thankful Tree

Create your own "Thankful Tree" with a branch, a pretty container, and some floral foam. Then use these free leaf printables to write all the things your family is thankful for and add them to your tree!

Hi Everyone!

I’m Cristina from Remodelando la Casa and I’m back again to share a very easy project you can use all throughout the season, of course, during Thanksgiving, and even Christmas.

What better way to count our blessings than with a thankful tree! The best part is, you can put it together with items you already have around the house and the free leaf printables within this post.

This is what you’ll need:

  • A tree branch – I picked one with lots of little sprouts to hold the leaves.
  • A pretty container – You can use a vase, and that would eliminate the need for floral foam.
  • Paper leaves – Download them right HERE.
  • Scissors.
  • Marker or pen.

I used a pretty, but very shallow container, and that’s why I had to use floral foam and tape to hold the tree branch in place.

In the mean time, the leaves were printed and cut out, and my little helpers started to write their blessings.

The floral foam was covered with miniature leaves, pine cones and acorns. A let’s give thanks sign completed the vignette.

This thankful tree can be the centerpiece on your Thanksgiving table, and in general, a great conversation starter.

I love the idea of doing a family “Thankful Tree” during the month of November. This Thankful tree is so much more pretty than a paper one taped to the wall! 😉 I’m also fawning over your Let’s Give Thanks sign.

We do a turkey on the wall and pin on feathers. I LOVE this tree idea! Definitely prettier. 😉
