Hi again! Chelsea here from Making Home Base!! Making Home Base is my little corner of blogland where I share DIY, crafts, and my adventures in decorating our rental home! Many of my projects are done SUPER cheap because I love the challenge of decorating on a budget!
As the holidays are fast approaching, I am so excited to share a really quick and easy way you can personalize your gift wrap this year! I probably love wrapping gifts just as much I as do purchasing them! It’s so fun to get creative and do little personal touches. Plus it’s perfect when you are in a pinch and can’t find those label tags that you bought on clearance last year (tell me that you do that too!).
I’m a big ol’ fan of washi tape. If you visit my blog you’ll find tons of projects where I use the stuff!
For the holidays, I thought it would fun to make my own gift tags using washi tape!
I created the tags using my Silhouette Cameo and card stock but you can easily and inexpensively purchase plain tags if needed.
The next step is insanely easy. Just decorate your gift tags using washi tape.
Here are a few others options I tried. A washi tape tree (darling, right?), or just some modern stripes.
I love that you can coordinate your gift tags to match whatever gift wrap you choose.
This is the simplest holiday DIY that you’ll do this year, I promise!
I have tons more holiday projects that you will love, like:
