Homemade Flour Tortillas

Homemade Flour Tortillas made from 5 Ingredients. They’re so soft, easy to make, and can be used for burritos, tacos, quesadillas, however you like!!

Prep Time: 30 Min

– 2 cups all purpose flour, plus 2 tbsp flour – 1 tsp baking powder – 1 tsp salt – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted – 2 cups all-purpose flour, plus 2 tbsp flour

Cook Time: 1 Min

Step 1

Mix flour, baking powder and salt together. Add warm water and melted butter. Mix with hands until combined. Add more flour if needed (1 tbsp at a time), but it should be a little sticky. Let dough rest for 10 minutes.

Turn skillet to MEDIUM heat. While skillet is heating up, divide dough into 12 balls. Roll out onto a lightly floured surface using a pastry roller to about 8 inches in diameter.

Step 3

Add tortillas to hot skillet and cook until bubbled and slightly browned on both sides. Continue process until all tortillas are cooked.

We go through tortillas like crazy and these are so good! My kids love helping to make these which is nice because they are so easy to make!
