Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh asparagus trim ends
  • 12 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400.

  2. Separate asparagus into 12 bundles.
  3. Wrap 1 piece of bacon around each bundle and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Place bundles in a casserole dish.
  5. In a small pot, combine butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and then pour over the asparagus bundles.
  6. Cook for 20-25 minutes.
