Ingredients

  • 2 lbs flank steak thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp ginger minced
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • 1/4 bundle asparagus diced in thirds
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Coat meat pieces with cornstarch and set aside.
  • Mix all remaining ingredients in your slow cooker and then add your beef, toss well.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours. Serve over rice.
