Italian Sausage and Penne Recipe

Lightly sauced Italian Sausage and Penne is flavorful and filling. This kid-friendly dish comes together quickly for a busy weeknight meal!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta uncooked
  • 1 lb hot Italian Sausage or milk
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 28 oz seasoned diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup Italian Cheese blend
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to box.
  • While pasta is cooking, heat sausage in a large skillet until cooked through. Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes, broccoli, cream and shredded cheese. Cook for 10 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
  • Add pasta and toss to coat. Sprinkle with more cheese before serving. ENJOY!
