Sweet Potato Hash Recipe

A healthy and filling dish that can be served on the side or in a bowl with your favorite protein choice. Sweet, salty, and super tasty, this sweet potato hash will become a new favorite.

  • 2 TB olive oil
  • 2 med sweet potatoes skin-on and diced into bite-size chunks
  • 1 white sweet potato
  • 1/2 med white onion diced
  • 1 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 red bell pepper chopped
  • garlic salt to taste


  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add potatoes and onion sprinkled with salt and pepper. Stir to combine.

  3. Lower heat, cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are almost tender.

  4. Turn heat to high and stir in the garlic and bell peppers. Cook on high for 2-5 minutes until sweet potatoes are nicely browned. Serve.
