Hot wings are a staple at any get together or party. This easy recipe will show you how to make this appetizer in the oven resulting in crispy, Baked hot wings.
Preheat oven to 450.
Begin by rinsing the wings (cutting off any excess fat) and patting dry.
Then, toss the wings in a plastic bag full of flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder and dash of pepper. When you dredge the chicken wings in flour, it helps them become crispy when baked.
Place wings in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet that is greased. Bake for about 30 minutes, making sure to turn them half way through (at 15 minutes).
While chicken wings are baking, prepare sauce by mixing 12 oz. buffalo sauce, a few shakes of Worcestershire Sauce and 1/4 to 1/2 cup butter. You will melt the two together until combined and heated through.
Once the wings are baked, you will toss the wings in the sauce and serve warm.
