Peppermint Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 oz containers egg product (such as Egg Beaters)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 30 peppermint candies crushed

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients (besides candies) in a blender and process until smooth. Refrigerate the mixture for at least one hour and up to 24 hours.
  • Using an ice cream maker, prepare ice cream according to manufacture’s direction, adding crushed candies during the last 5 minutes.
  • Pour ice cream into a freezer-safe container. Freeze until set.
