Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup dutch process cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup semi sweet chocolate chips and more for sprinkling on top
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips
  • 2 cups milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Prepare muffin tins with 24 cupcake liners.
  • In large bowl - combine all dry ingredients.
  • In separate bowl- combine liquid ingredients and whisk until incorporated and egg yolks are broken.
  • Fold into dry ingredients - don't over mix but make sure you don't have any dry spots.
  • Spoon batter into prepared liners about ¾ full.
  • Sprinkle on additional chocolate chips.
  • Bake 20-22 minutes or until toothpick test is clean.
  • Cool in tins about 10 minutes before moving to wire rack to continue cooling completely.
