Candied Walnuts Recipe

Crunchy candied walnuts to snack on all Christmas season long! It's one of the easiest candy recipes and can be made in under an hour!

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 lb walnuts halved

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F

  2. In a small bowl mix the sugar, cinnamon, and salt together.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg white and vanilla together until it is frothy.

  4. Add the walnuts to the egg white froth and toss. Then add the sugar mixture to the walnuts and mix until all the walnuts are evenly coated.

  5. Evenly spread the walnuts onto a baking sheet. Bake for one hour or until brown. Be sure to stir the walnuts every 20 minutes.
