Lemon Garlic Chicken Recipe

This flavorful lemon garlic chicken is ready in 15 minutes or less! It's a great weeknight chicken dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken breasts in half horizontally to create 4 thinner breasts. Sprinkle each with salt and pepper to taste and coat each in flour.
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
  • While the chicken is browning prepare your remaining ingredients. It is important to have everything ready so the garlic doesn't burn.
  • Remove chicken from the pan and set aside. Add garlic to the pan and stir constantly for 30 seconds.
  • Stir in the remaining ingredients. Remove from stove and add chicken to the pan and turn to coat.
