Lemon Garlic Chicken Recipe

- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breast
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
Cut the chicken breasts in half horizontally to create 4 thinner breasts. Sprinkle each with salt and pepper to taste and coat each in flour.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
While the chicken is browning prepare your remaining ingredients. It is important to have everything ready so the garlic doesn't burn.
Remove chicken from the pan and set aside. Add garlic to the pan and stir constantly for 30 seconds.
Stir in the remaining ingredients. Remove from stove and add chicken to the pan and turn to coat.
