Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 6 oz Uncle Ben's Original Recipe Long Grain & Wild Rice (cooked)
  • 2 cups chicken cooked and chopped
  • 1/2 cup sliced carrots
  • 3 tbsp slivered almonds
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup half and half

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a pot, and add flour. Stir until combined creating a roux.
  • Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • Add cooked rice and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add remaining ingredients and heat through. ENJOY!
