- 6 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 6 oz Uncle Ben's Original Recipe Long Grain & Wild Rice (cooked)
- 2 cups chicken cooked and chopped
- 1/2 cup sliced carrots
- 3 tbsp slivered almonds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup half and half
Melt butter in a pot, and add flour. Stir until combined creating a roux.
Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Add cooked rice and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and heat through. ENJOY!
