  • Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium-sized bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk and butter. Add eggs and stir until combined.
  • Incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients with a whisk. Fold in the vanilla and let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
  • Preheat the waffle iron and grease with butter or cooking spray. Pour about ⅓-½ cup of batter into the waffle iron. Cook until ready. Top with syrup and berries.
