Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sprinkles
  • cups Christmas M&Ms, divided
  • 2 cup chocolate chips, milk, semi-sweet or dark chocolate chip

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a baking sheet and set aside.
  • In a stand mixer (or with a hand mixer in a large bowl), cream butter, oil and both sugars. Add eggs and beat until fluffy.
  • Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and vanilla, and mix until incorporated.
  • Chop ½ cup M&Ms and fold into cookie dough mixture along with sprinkles and 1/2 the chocolate chips.
  • Use a medium cookie scoop to scoop dough, roll into balls and place onto the prepared baking sheet. Top with more whole M&Ms. Bake for 9–11 minutes.
  • Let cookies sit on the cookie sheet for a few minutes, then remove to a rack to cool.
