Candy Coated Almonds

Cinnamon and sugar candy coated almonds are prepped in 5 minutes with simple seasonings. They're perfect for snacking and gifting!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 teaspoon cold water
  • 4 cups whole raw almonds
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 250°F. Lightly grease a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, lightly beat egg white. Add water and beat until frothy. Add almonds and stir until well-coated.
  • In a separate bowl (or in a resealable plastic bag), mix sugar, cinnamon and salt. Sprinkle over nuts and toss to coat, then spread nuts evenly on the greased pan.
  • Bake for 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until golden. Let cool before enjoying.

Notes

Variation. Try adding pumpkin pie spice or cayenne pepper for a different flavor.
Store in an airtight container or mason jar for 1 week at room temperature, 2 weeks in the refrigerator, or 2 months in the freezer.
