Candied Sweet Potatoes Recipe
Simply tasty Candied Sweet Potatoes are caramelized in butter and brown sugar, making them a favorite side dish.
- 2-3 sweet potatoes peeled and cut into rounds
- 2-3 tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- salt and pepper to taste (to taste)
Add all ingredients to a pan and bring to a boil.
Turn heat down to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes without stirring.
Cook on low for an additional 3-5 minute stirring until potatoes are well coated.
