- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup milk, 2% or higher
- 2 eggs
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat waffle iron.
Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar and cocoa in a large mixing bowl.
Stir in milk, eggs and butter and mix until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.
Scoop out almost 1 cups worth of batter and pour onto greased waffle iron. Cook for a few minutes, or until golden brown.
