Course: Drinks
Cuisine: American
Servings: 16
- 1 gallon Green Berry Rush Hawaiian Punch
- 46 ounces pineapple juice
- 1 liter Sprite/7Up
- red sanding sugar optional
- lime sherbet optional
Add first three ingredients to a large punch bowl or pitcher and stir to combine. Chill for 30-60 minutes (or chill ingredients first).
Add ice cream right before serving, if desired, or simply add ice.
To rim glasses in red sanding sugar, add a little Sprite to a small bowl and the sanding sugar to another bowl. Dip the rim of the glasses in the Sprite and then into the sugar.
Recipe Tips.
- Chill the punch, pineapple juice, and soda before mixing so the punch is cold right away.
- Add Sprite or 7Up close to serving so the punch stays fizzy.
- Use ice if serving in a punch bowl, or skip the ice and chill everything well first so it does not get watered down.
- Add lime sherbet right before serving so it stays creamy and bubbly.
- Make-ahead tip: mix the Hawaiian Punch and pineapple juice ahead, chill, then add soda, sherbet, and glass rims right before serving.
Store. Refrigerate leftover punch without sherbet for up to 2 days. Stir before serving since some ingredients may settle. Add fresh Sprite or 7Up before serving leftovers to bring back the bubbles.
Freeze. Freezing is not recommended for the mixed punch, but you can freeze some Hawaiian Punch into ice cubes to keep the punch cold without watering it down.
