Homemade Waffle Mix Recipe

This homemade waffle mix whips up light, fluffy waffles in minutes—perfect for quick, delicious breakfasts anytime!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • cups warm milk
  • cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the waffle iron to the desired temperature.
  • In a medium bowl, mix flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar until combined.
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Add the milk, butter, and vanilla and stir to combine.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Pour ¾ cup batter into the waffle iron and cook until golden.

Notes

Recipe Tips.
  • Triple the dry ingredients and keep it in an airtight container in the pantry. When making waffles use 2⅛ cups of the mix and combine it with the wet ingredient listed on the recipe card.
  • We love classic melted butter and syrup, but also enjoy fresh berries and Cool Whip as waffle toppings.
  • For fluffy waffles don't overmix the batter. Mix the wet and dry ingredients just until they are combined; a few lumps are perfectly fine.
