Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American
Servings: 15 brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 (16.3-ounce) box Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix, plus ingredients on the box
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons mint extract
  • 2-3 drops green food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9x13 dish with parchment paper and lightly grease.
  • Make brownies as instructed on the box and bake in the baking dish.
  • Beat the powdered sugar, butter, mint extract, food coloring and milk until smooth in a medium bowl. Spread evenly over the cooled brownies (we add dollops all over the top to make it easier to spread).
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter until smooth. Spread over the mint layer, cover, and chill for at least 1 hour.
  • Let set out for 20-30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

Box brownie ingredients typically include water, vegetable oil, and eggs.
Store brownies in an airtight container in the fridge for 4-5 days. To freeze, wrap individual brownies in plastic wrap, put in a freezer-safe bag, and freeze for up to 3 months.
