Course: Dressing
Cuisine: American
Servings: 10
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 1½ tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper, coarse
- ½ teaspoon salt
Whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, pepper and salt in a medium bowl. Refrigerate.
Recipe Tips.
- Chill the sauce for at least 1 hour if you can; the flavor gets better as it sits.
- Use coarse black pepper for the most classic taste and texture.
- Taste after chilling and adjust salt or pepper if needed.
- Want it a little tangier? Add an extra splash of Worcestershire.
- This sauce is great as a spread on burgers and sandwiches, not just for dipping.
Store. Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
Freeze. We do not recommend. Mayo-based sauces do not freeze well and can separate when thawed.
