Rice Krispie Treat Recipe

- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 (12-ounce) bag large marshmallows
- 8-8½ cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1½ cups mini marshmallows
In a large bowl, melt butter in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Add large marshmallows to the butter and microwave for 2–3 minutes.
Stir well and slowly add Rice Krispies. When all combined, toss in mini marshmallows, stir to mix, and pour into a greased 9-x-13-inch pan.
Using wax paper or with greased hands, press the mixture gently to spread evenly into all corners of the pan. Allow them to set for at least 30 minutes before cutting and serving.
Make ahead of time. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Variations. To change it up, try substituting Cocoa Krispies or Fruity Pebbles for Rice Krispies, or use different flavored mallows to create different flavors.
